Our second Cherry Award goes to local business BeerYard!

Have a look at their Facebook Page or their Instagram account, and you’ll see why we love them.
So why do we rate their social media efforts so highly?
Firstly, it’s because of their images. The photos they post are fantastic. Are they professional photos, or impromptu cell phone shots? Staged or spontaneous? A mixture of both?
Look carefully and you will see clever placement of their logo.
The colours are great, the food looks appetising, and the wonderful atmosphere of the venue is shown off. There’s a good variety too – staff pics, beer, the DJ, patrons having fun, the pool, the flamingo (we love that flamingo!)
Another thing we like is their regular updates on food specials. Hard to resist.
And then we love their slogan. “Craft beer without any of the pretentiousness.” Their social media is in line with their mission.
On their Insta account, there is very clever use of highlighted images. Have a look.
There’s also great coverage of their events (trivia evenings, DJ nights, Bok rugby days, Halloween parties and the like), showing customers having a good time.
